DESCRIPTION

Mesmerising and curious. "No Name" 18 karat rose gold chronograph. Equipped with a fully serviced and perfectly running Valjoux 71 movement, comes with 2 year warranty. Possibly this watch was made in a Swiss watchmaking school during the late 40-ties/early 50-ties, as both the movement and the dial remain unsigned, was quite a common practise back in those days. Case shows serialnumber 251216 on the outside and reference number 1169 on the inside of the solid/massive caseback. Very elegant case with super nice lugs, which are solid gold and not hollow, very well constructed which you can feel by the actual weight of the watch itself. Original dial and hands showing great patina, hands are executed in beautifully blued steel, typical for that period as well.  Comes on a nice and matching tan brown calfskin strap with goldplated buckle. If you would have any further interest or want to buy this watch, please let me know by email.
